Take a look at this paragraph:
"Jack may have a problem having an intellectual conversation with me, but
that hardly makes me unintelligent. What it means, in my opinion, is that
Jack sees things from a totally alien aspect than I. Because of this, it has
become clear to me that Jack has taken the road of the commons. What do I
mean by this?"
Has he just admitted to being an alien?
And this one, from the same post by Rick Ratchford:
"The Road of the Commons is the most traveled road there is. Most want to
take it, and what it offers most consider it the way things are. Many
so-called 'intellectuals' take this road, and thus are also the ones to
quickly dismiss the existence of a God that has created all things. These
'intellectuals' will usually try to explain away life scientifically, and if
they fail to do so, will fill in the gaps 'hypetheically', until either
proven or disproven some years later. Those that believe in such a creator
are considered 'ignorant' by these 'intellectuals'. Thus, that is how Jack
views me."
Wow! Wow! What an ego. Lucky for us, huh? Somebody needs to give this guy a TV show, quick. What an untapped gold mine. Did he just compare himself to a persecuted Saint?
There's more:
"He mentions that I've been more 'flagrant' in recent times. How wrong he is.
I was more flagrant in the past, when real ignorance from others came in the
form of insults, which I was quick to throw back. In recent years, I've
decided to hold back what I really think of someones insults, considering
what I've accomplished in the markets as opposed to the one insulting me. So
why should I care to respond in like? No need. Let the fool wallow if that
is his subconscience will to do so. I'm here to help anyone with an open
mind and kind heart."
Aww, he's here to help us. Actually, I think he said you're more "fragrant", Rick.
Even more B.S.:
"Because Jack chose the Road of the Commons itself does not bother me. Oh,
I'm sorry for Jack in the respect that he is unaware of the reality of
market action, and wishes to prove otherwise with this experimental math
problems. There is nothing wrong with trying to discover truth. But Jack
chose to be critical of my work (and person) using his off-the-mark trading
systems, and thus it became clear to me that he doesn't want truth, he wants
the many who also travel the Road of the Commons to like him, respect him,
bring him into their fold. Many hear dare not say something that would cause
another to unleash their savage criticisms at them for doing so, so they
either fall silent or jump on the bandwagon like sheep. This is what
happened with this Craig person (who also is in my killfile once I realized
he is easily swayed like a leaf in the wind)."
Methinks, "this Craig person", just wised up to Rick's games.
More of this classic Rick Ratchford post to be continued...It's a keeper...
